New Karate class beginning on Wed Jan 9th in Deep Cove. 10am-11am. Open to all ages and all levels youth and adult.


Samurai’s 4-6 yrs:  4:30-5:00 PM
Youth 7-12 yrs:  5:00-6:00 PM
Adults/Youth 12yrs +: 6-7 PM


Samurai’s 4-6 yrs:  4:30-5:00 PM
Youth 7-12 yrs:  5:00-6:00 PM (Parents are welcome to train with their kids)
Adults & Advanced belts 13+: 6:00-7:00 PM



All fees are based on a monthly rate, unless otherwise specified. Post-dated cheques (6 months in advance) are mandatory. A $15 late fee will apply.

Samurai’s: 2 days/week – $65, 1 day/week – $45
Youth: 2 days/week – $80, 1 day/week – $65
Adult: 2 days/week – $90, 1 day/week – $75

Family rate: $55 for each additional family member
Drop in fee: $20 for Youth & Adults, $15 for Samurai’s, maximum 2 drop in classes/month

Karate BC Fee- depends on belt colour –approx $35.00 youth, $55 adult.
Payable after 3 classes for insurance purposes.

KSI Fee -$20.00 payable in January

Gift Certificates for Private Classes

Single class for $50
Five classes for $200
Ten classes for $360
They include one-on-one training and a feedback session.

Daytime – Crush It – Ladies Only Informal Workout & Self Defense

CRUSH IT is a 30 minute high energy kick boxing circuit created for women. Benefits are muscle tone, weight loss, stress relief, basic self defense skills and impact.

Ladies CRUSH IT classes begin in January Every Tuesday beginning Jan 8th 9am-9:30am, Thursday Jan 10th 9am-9:30am and Saturday’s beginning Jan 19th 10am-10:30am.

Instructor: Sensei David Bentley


Sensei Bentley is the Chief Canadian Instructor for Shukokai in Western Canada. He currently holds Rokudan (6th Dan Black Belt)and has been training with the Shukokai style for 35 years and an instructor for 30 years. He’s competed at international level for both England and Canada.

Sensei Bentley is a certified National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) coach and instructor, a certified fit4defense instructor as well as First Aid certified and has had many successful clubs in England, Ontario and British Columbia.His most recent achievements include Sports Psychology Certification 2006, Karate BC Coach of the Year 2007, a silver medal for Canada in kumite (sparring) at the KSI World Championships in 2008, a bronze in kumite at the KSI World Championships in 2010, and a silver medal in kumite at the KSI World Championships in 2016.
